Gopichand's sound is very distinctive. There is a peculiar bending of bamboo between his two hands tightly together where the left hand while his right hand touched the rope. This is a rhythmic and a melodic instrument and used to accompany instruments such as Kartal, equip, or Kohl. It is also used to sing traditional songs and other regions to sing mantras. Can be executed by pulling the string with the nail of the fingers or with a metal plectrum attached to a finger as the sitar (musical instrument of India more complex)
