MOXEÑO This musical instrument called Moxeño is found in the area of canton Molds in Bolivia, although many believe that its name comes from the Bolivian city of Moxos but not so. It is also often found by name or Mosén Mohoceño. According to some research their origin is probably post-Columbian and now usually implemented throughout the Andean region.

It is a type of flute that is always on "troop" and is usually played in fifths and octaves, creating a very unique timbre and orchestral sound typical. It is used in rainy season and only in certain Andean zones, since their diffusion is lower than in other flutes. In the mixed area is very rarely used and almost always serious in the registry, unlike in the rural area. It is said that originally had a pentatonic scale, but it is currently tuned diatonic.

| Measures taken by large (hence more severe) had an ingenious system that insufflation involves placing a rod through to the mouth, this way the distance between the hands of the player with arms outstretched reaching them plug the holes and After blowing through the "mouth" artificial, which otherwise would be physically impossible, due to the large distance from the mouth to normal holes. buscar | |||

Other variants of this tool is that instead of Tokoro through the canal side of bamboo is made from the barrel of the pen of the condor. The mouth is always hidden on the opposite side of the line traced by the holes, and there are 4 side holes that are used to tune the instrument. The sizes of the various measures of troops vary depending on the area and villages (eg in Bolivia there are Alonzo, Challwiri, Warani Straight, Nakha Amaya and Wara). We can say that the Moxeño is a unique tool for being one of the flutes World's most serious and producing tunes with a deep sound.
